johnleesandiego posted a photo: The American Holly (Ilex olpaca) is chock full of red berries today. Holly serve as a great shelter for songbirds but during winter and during summer storms. In winter, if food sources are scarce, many species of bird will eat the berries.

johnleesandiego posted a photo: Located in Olde Town Nutley, the Modern Leaf and Bean is an independent locally owned coffee shop serving up fair trade coffee and tea. The shop uses traditional materials in new ways, the sign hanger dates back to the 1800′s but instead of the traditonal carved signs of the past reflects modern design; the interior has the original tin ceiling but painted in modern colours. Oh yeah, and the coffee drinks and custom tea blends – let’s just say that the folks from Seattle need to be worried!
